Scott Taylor, PA-C
“It’s very gratifying to be able to take part in the care of a patient and watch them regain their confidence after an orthopedic injury.”
Scott Taylor joined Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle as a physician assistant in 2010.
Scott was a dermatology technician for two years before going back to school to receive his masters in physician assistant studies from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. While in school, he completed clinical rotations in many specialties including emergency medicine, cardiology, pediatrics, primary care and more – but his enjoyment of orthopedic surgery’s complexity, and the procedural work inherent in the practice, drove him to pursue a career as an orthopedic PA.
Scott is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). He has a bachelor of science in psychology from Dana College in Blair, NE. While in college, he was an Academic All-American wrestler.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys mixed martial arts, cycling, snowboarding, and spending time with his lovely wife, Katrina.
