Originally begun as Cheers to Wallingford nearly 4 years ago, the 2014 Cheers to Chambers Business Expo will feature businesses from Wallingford, Fremont, Ballard, Greenlake, Greenwood/Phinney, Queen Anne and other North Seattle neighborhoods.

OSS has been part of the Wallingford community for many years and look forward to meeting you!

Our services include: Treatment of arthritic conditions of the foot, ankle, hand, wrist, hip, knee, elbow and shoulder; total joint replacements of the shoulder, hip, ankle, and knee arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle; teatment of fractures and soft tissue trauma; treatment of sports injuries to cartilage, ligaments and bones; endoscopic carpel tunnel release surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome; joint restoration procedures and anterior approach hip replacement surgery.

2013 Jingle Bell Run/Walk – A Successful Run!

On Sunday, December 8, 2013, Team Proliance Surgeons participated in the Annual Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis event held at the Westlake Center in Seattle, WA. 150 runners and walkers from Team Proliance Surgeons, OSS’parent company, braved the cold weather to participate in the event and raise awareness about arthritis.

According to the Arthritis Foundation, “The Seattle Jingle Bell Run/Walk is the largest in the country, raising the most money for critical arthritis research and programs! This year we aim to raise even more awareness and more money than ever before to improve the lives of the 1.3 million people with arthritis who live in Washington State.”

Team Proliance Surgeons was the #1 Fundraising team for 2013! We also rank #10 nationally, having raised $12,457.00, the largest amount out of all the teams for this great cause!

Overall, the Seattle Jingle Bell Run/Walk event raised $649,044.00 giving Seattle, WA the top spot as the highest fundraisers for this event!

OSS Sponsoring Memorial Day 5K River Run

This Memorial Day, Monday May 27th, Camp Gilead is holding a 5K River Run/Walk and Pancake Breakfast. Our very own Dr. Ruhlman will be attending this event. OSS is proud to sponsor this upcoming local event at the Gold level. The proceeds for this 5K are to benefit camper scholarships for Camp Gilead.

As a sponsor, OSS will also be providing pedometers as part of the promotional goody bags for all race participants. Registration for this run also includes a long sleeve race t-shirt and a ticket to the following pancake breakfast.

We would like to encourage all those interested to participate in this wonderful 5k to benefit local camp scholarships. OSS reminds you to run or walk at your own pace to avoid any unwanted orthopedic injuries.

May and June Pet Supply Drive for Doney Memorial Pet Clinic

Pet Supply Drive at OSS

OSS is proud to offer a pet supply donation box at each of our locations for May and June. We encourage all staff, patients, and anyone in the community to stop by and donate pet food, new or gently used pet supplies, and toys for the Doney Memorial Pet Clinic.

The Doney Memorial Pet Clinic is 100% volunteer run and donation funded. This local clinic provides veterinary care to the pets of homeless and other low income qualifying pet families. They also offer a pet food bank and have been offering pet care for over 25 years. Their mission in addition to helping pets is, “To prevent an increase of unwanted pets through partnering with the City of Seattle’s spay and neuter program.”

Join Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle and support this great local organization by bringing any of the following supplies to either of our clinic locations.
