On Wednesday, September 1, Orthopedic Surgeon Scott Ruhlman, MD will join Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle (OSS). Specializing in hand and upper extremity disorders of adults and children, Ruhlman also offers state-of-the-art fracture care, sports medicine and joint replacement surgery.
Ruhlman obtained his medical degree from Medical College of Ohio, and subsequently completed his orthopedic surgical residency training at the University of Washington Department of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. After his general orthopedics training, Ruhlman completed a hand and upper extremity fellowship at Harvard Medical School, where he served on the staff of Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital Boston and the VA Boston Healthcare System.
Ruhlman joins six orthopedic surgeons at Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle: Phil Downer, MD, Jon Franklin, MD, Charles Peterson II, MD, Joel Shapiro, MD, J. Michael Watt, MD and Wayne Weil, MD. Ruhlman will see patients at OSS’ Ballard and Wallingford offices.
